So close....

Important Note:

We are very excited that the release of the South Mountain GeoTrail caches is (nearly) here!  As of today (Dec. 10) there are 24 caches placed.

If you only have 24 caches, how can I get my South Mountain GeoTrail coin?
Until 30+ caches are placed, the amount of stamps needed to get a coin will simply be the amount of caches available.  For the near future it will be 24 but as that number changes, we will post the new number on this blog.  We will accept passports with the previously required number of caches for three business days after posting the new quantity.  We apologize for the confusion but did not want to delay the release.

I know of a great spot that would really fit with the caches I’ve found so far, can it be included?
ABSOLUTELY!  We initially desired about 50 caches, but we have no upward limit.  Click on the Site Nominations tab at the top of this website and let us know the site you are interested in proposing.  We’re also looking for individuals who will help maintain sites physically and on www.geocaching.com.  We hope to hear from you soon!

Good luck, be safe, and have fun!
